Seafood Paella

Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 5 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tomatoes
- 3 baby octopus
- 1.5 cups short grain white rice
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron
- 1 tea glass of red wine (optional)
- 3 cups hot chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- 4 carides (200 gram jumbo)
- 200 g squid
- 12 mussels in shell (200 grams)
- 1 cup peas
- Parsley
How to Make
- First, chop the onions into small pieces.
- After crushing the garlic, mince it finely. After peeling the tomatoes, cut them into cubes.
- Clean all seafood carefully. Then rinse with plenty of water.
- Dry the washed seafood with paper towels.
- Put the chicken or vegetable broth in the pot and cook over low heat.
- Heat the olive oil in a wide-based pan. Add onion and garlic and roast them.
- After washing and draining the rice, put it into the pan and add the chopped tomatoes.
- Add the saffron and red wine and cook over high heat.
- Add half of the hot vegetable broth to the rice. Add salt and pepper, cover and leave to cook.
- Heat the olive oil in a different pan. Add all the seafood and sauté them one by one over high heat.
- Put the seafood in the rice pot. Add the remaining vegetable broth and peas and cook until the water is absorbed.
- Serve the seafood paella with finely chopped parsley and mint leaves. Enjoy your meal.
Trick
- Instead of roasting seafood in olive oil, you can prepare paella in salma style by adding it to roasted onions and garlic.
- In addition to seafood, you can add ingredients such as wings, thighs, breasts, salami, sausage.
- You can enrich the paella with your favorite spices.
